I’m enjoying learning about Procreate and am loving how you can add and take away so easily. Changing colour or lines is very quick and you don’t have to start over again.

I’ve been waiting for an iPad for a while now and was lucky enough the recent tax return meant that I could get one now. I’m absolutely loving @procreate ! Being able to mark marks and erase easily and it looks like the art I create with physical mediums. I’m really looking forward to practising my illustration skills. It’s so much more convenient and I don’t even have to wait for the layers to dry!

One week since the CYA Bootcamp and I'm incredibly grateful I had this opportunity. @lorae_at_work gave the most thorough feedback and I'm working hard to ensure the manuscript and storyboard are ready for submission.

Thank you to the @cyaconference for organising this. As an aspiring author, it was the first time I've been to something like this and I'll certainly be on the lookout for more events like this.

Thank you also to the other members on my table @stevekidsbookauthor @jenni.goodman and @pennyjanemorrison who shared their industry knowledge and experience. Thank you also to @ryley.mc I wish you the best of luck with your submissions and look forward to seeing your success.

It's been such an exciting week hosting Matt Stanton @itsmattstantonhere , Sophie Beer @sophiebeerdraws and Sandhya Parappukkaran @sandhya_librarybagbooks at TAS this week.
I can't thank them enough for engaging our students and providing the additional opportunity of signing books. They definitely inspired our students to read more (I'm going to have to purchase more copies for the library to keep up with the demand).
